Birthplace of Hip Hop in the Bronx is Still in Danger of Being Sold

1520 Sedgwick Ave is commonly considered the birthplace of Hip Hop. Its the place where Kool Herc first began throwing parties and where experimentation with extension of the breaks began at. It’s in the heart of the South Bronx in the heart of the city that began all of this. And now its in danger of being sold.
