Videos: Throwback Sundays Vol. 8

As we keep it moving fresh off of the great night that was Illmatic at Next Door a few days ago we’ve really been looking forward to dropping this edition of Throwback Sunday videos your way. We’re nostalgic heads as it is but having a night dedicated to feeding that really encourages us. Sit back and enjoy…

As always, videos after the jump…

Black Moon was simply solid. Great beats (courtesy of Evil Dee) and Buck and 5ft just went for theirs. From the album that actually predated the Boot Camp Clik and started the movement, Enta Da Stage.

Daaaaaaamn this one was FIRE. Meth, Red, LL, Canibus, Master P (?), and introducing DMX (remember this was two years prior to his first LP). And remember this is what popped off the Canibus and LL beef too.

The classic cut, Cold World, from GZA’s first solo offering. Bobby on the boards.

The world’s introduction to Jeru, Can’t Stop the Prophet, from the 94 banger The Sun Still Rises in the East and of course produced by the one and only Premo.

Till the next episode…
