R.I.P. Issac Hayes

From the Shaft score to Black Moses, Issac Hayes was an icon of Soul music.  He especially holds a special place for those that dug the gritty Stax/Volt Soul sound more so than the more polished Motown style (no disrespect to Motown intended).  And he holds a special place with Hip Hop heads who recognize his samples in production.  Enjoy this one, “Walk on By”, from Hot Butted Soul and reminisce on the work of one of Soul music’s true legends.
